America’s mistake announced new mandates for vehicle emissions and mileage this week. Now that the new CEO of General Motors (Obama, not the puppet guy) has forcibly taken the reigns, the force feeding of small, powerless gray cars to the masses can begin!
 | I’ve got to admit, America’s mistake did a good job of taking over large private industry so that it could be shaped in the liberal vision… which is “you people drive crap, me and my friends will drive large, comfortable cars because we work for the government.” Here’s what I don’t get… Obama has never run a company, started a company, or even worked for a company. Yet, here he is taking over companies and mandating who they hire, for what salary, and what products they will build. Does anyone else see the idiocy of this? In another in your face power grab, the Obama Administration is NOT allowing companies and banks to pay back the TARP money so that they can escape the increasingly tight noose of Barry and his Chicago thugs. They give companies like American Express money that they didn’t need in the first place, then pass legislation giving them power and control over anyone receiving TARP money. Companies like American Express saw the train wreck that is the Obama takeover and slaughter of GM and tried to get out from under the government thumb by paying back every penny. But no, America’s mistake will have none of that nonsense. Do you think liberals are going to give up any power once it has been gained? Fat chance. |
