Last week, a picture hit the internet showing a billboard with a friendly George W. Bush waving and asking “Miss Me Yet?” People were blogging and speculating as to whether the billboard, outside of Wyoming, Minnesota, was real or a Photo-shopped prank. Turns out, it was real!

The creators are a "group of small businessmen and individuals who just felt like Washington was against them," according to an employee of Schubert & Hoey Outdoor Advertising. The group also wishes to remain anonymous.

Aside from the clever message, the buzz over the billboard is a clear indication of how vibrant outdoor advertising can become, even in an Internet age.

"They are arguably more relevant than they ever were," says Dave Etherington, worldwide marketing director for Titan, which handles advertising on transit systems around the US. "A key thing about a billboard or a large ad ... it has the power to stop you in your stride that comes from the incongruity of seeing something in a public space where you're not conditioned to expect something."

Forget the ad, the message is something we’ve been saying for several months now. With that in mind, our graphics guy decided to take the public image and create a t-shirt and mug design with the popular slogan. The items are available now through out Cafe Press Store.

I don’t like to use blog postings as a marketing tool, but that picture of Bush with that smile and the slogan fit so perfectly that we just had to take a second and toot our own horn.

This is getting really sad. The evidence is so ‘in your face’ when it comes to exposing how Democrats use race, religion, ethnicity, income level, and sex to try and divide this country. Without chaos, the Democrats cannot expand their radical agenda to reign in the masses and bring everyone under government control.

Case in point, the tragic shooting of a security guard at the National Holocaust Museum by a sick, twisted individual. Without facts, without proof, without knowledge, the State-run media immediately labeled this POS a “right winger.” The term was used numerous times on Obama friendly outlets such as MSNBC and CNN. Salon.com Editor-in-Chief Joan Walsh, on Wednesday night’s “Hardball,” cited “conservatives” like Rush Limbaugh, Michelle Malkin and Bill O’Reilly for “whipping up” a climate that sparks the likes of alleged Holocaust Museum shooter James Von Brunn and “Hardball” host Chris Matthews wondered if access to guns were to blame for the tragedy as he cried, “It’s easier to get your hands on a gun than to get somebody to make you a waffle.”

Isn’t it funny that the MSM spends so much time trying to place blame on “right wingers” for this tragic event and the one last week involving the abortion doctor? They can’t just blame it on the fact that these people are psychotic, deranged, and dangerous. They seem to ignore the fact that this loon hated FOX news, Bush, the government in general, and was a 9/11 conspiracy nut.

BTW: Where was Chris Matthews when it came to in-depth coverage of how hate speech urged a Muslim to attack and kill a soldier in a military recruitment center in Alabama? Oh yeah, I forgot that to them, Jihadist’s killing Americans is acceptable and we should go to any length to understand why they hate us.

I saw this on YouTube and had to share it. I’m a Marine. Although I got out in the mid 80’s, another Marine client of mine sternly lectured me to never use the term “ex-Marine,” because you are a Marine for life. He was in his seventies, served during the Korean conflict, and had a desk full of Marine paraphernalia. I never really thought of it that way before, but it seems that as the years go on, I find myself more and more prideful and respectful of the honor I had in serving this country in that uniform.

I was in the corps during Ronald Reagan’s term in office, and thank God. I have a lot of respect and admiration for the men and women serving today who have to hold their nose and serve under someone who lacks any leadership skills, cannot verify their citizenship, and thinks the proper way to acknowledge a military salute is with a hip handshake (see inauguration day). This comparison shows the difference in attitude of our fighting men and women when a false prophet is in charge. Say what you will about GW, but he had nothing but respect and admiration for the people in the military. Semper Fi.

It’s been driving me crazy! The last few days I’ve been itching to write an update but have just been too busy. Here’s the latest observation.

It seems that America’s mistake is proving once again why his gross incompetence could put this country on a path of destruction that we may not be able to recover from. Doing his monthly “Hey, look at me, I care about you little people” tour, the Messiah was blindsided without his teleprompter by a government employee. I wonder if this guy will be derided by the MSM just like Joe the Plumber who dared question the anointed one. It seems that Jesus 2.0 didn’t know a key government agency even existed… Even though the dimwit attended the groundbreaking ceremony for their new building. Here’s the transcript:

Could you imagine the outrage in the ‘objective’ media of Bush or Reagan had stumbled into this embarrassing moment? I remember all the outrage when GW didn’t know about supermarket scanners. I am NOT the only one who thinks that it is better to have a president that knows every detail of the job he is doing than a president who eats burgers and doesn’t know jack about his kingdom. Maybe NObama can look at one of the NGA maps and finally learn that there are only 50 states.

It’s been a while since the last post, and a lot has happened since then. I’ll skip the old news and get to the hot topic of the weekend. At  Saturday’s White House Correspondents Dinner in DC, America’s mistake was so enthralled with the hatred spewing from Wanda Sykes mouth that he couldn’t stop laughing. Now, I understand it’s an event that was to poke fun at people, but this low brow entertainment reached a new low when 2 jokes were told that not just angered many on the right, but drew gales of “WTF’s” from the usually morally bereft media in attendance. I thought the agenda for a ‘roast’ type situation was to make jokes at the expense of the honoree? Not in this case. Sykes just stroked Obama’s already bulging ego and chose to mock those not in attendance.

It’s “Insensitive and Uninformed Night at The Apollo.”

Joke number 1: "I think Rush Limbaugh was the 20th hijacker, but he was so strung out on Oxycontin he missed his flight." Really. How about phrasing the joke to say "I think Hussein Obama was the 20th hijacker, but he was so strung out on cocaine he missed his flight." After all, Barry is an admitted coke-head. Wouldn’t that have been more in line with the expected ‘roast’ type format of the evening? Joke number 2: “ I hope his kidney’s fail”. First of all, this Lefty got her facts wrong… par for the course for libtards that have to skew the facts and quote out of context so that it fits their demented view of the world. Rush said that he hopes his policies fail. Any person that actually listened to or read the transcript would know that to be the fact. But I guess these liberals were too busy burning the dissenting written word than actually reading it. The sad thing is to see America’s mistake chuckling like a buffoon in the background. Keep laughing you one term pariah. I guess the text message from George Soros telling him to feign indifference didn’t make it in time.

How about a joke where you wish Ted Kennedy gets a brain tumor? Ha! Look at me! I can be a tolerant and unifying liberal, too. I’ll just sit back and wait for my invitation to the next White House Correspondents Dinner to arrive in the mail.

I’ve had a few posts on this board referencing the terrible job that Janet Napolitano has done not just as governor, but as the tragic head of the DHS. A person that has absolutely no qualifications to be running the security of this country somehow got selected to do the most important job in this country. She was a complete and miserable failure securing the borders of Arizona, and now this dangerous pariah has completed her list of blunders that makes her expulsion from any type of responsible job a necessity.

Crappy-Nappy must go!

First came the despicable report put out by her office that stated the biggest threat to America’s security was right wing extremists! Not a mumble or peep about terrorists, but plenty of bellowing about how veterans, religious people, and gun owners are the biggest threat to America. Shim was quick to backtrack when several groups complained about the generalizations and stereotyping that was rampant in this document. Isn’t it interesting that we can’t stop young middle eastern men who act suspicious in airports because that would be stereotyping, yet the Obama administration can put out a document that is gratuitously laden with generalities and stereotypes? But that’s good old liberal hypocrisy for ya. By the way there Crappy-Nappy, the biggest threat to this country is not conservative beliefs, it’s rampant and unfettered liberalism! After that she went to Canada in an effort to impress our northerly neighbors with her vast knowledge of history and America’s security. This included an historical account of 9/11 where she blames Canada for letting the hijackers into this country. WHAT?!?!? I thought they came directly from overseas… Yet the person in charge of our security is convinced that the terrorists came from Canada? How can this be?

The final straw has to be this disaster of a photo-op that featured Air Force One (a replica) and military fighter jets flying low over New York City. How was Crappy-Nappy involved? Well, as head of DHS, her office would have been responsible for giving the OK to fly these aircraft outside of traditional flight lanes and at low altitudes. It would have to have been coordinated with the military, FAA, and other agencies to ensure it went over smoothly. Instead, it went over like a fart in a diving helmet. You see, Nappy forgot to inform the most important group of all… The people of New York. Of course to liberals, 9/11 was our fault and therefore should be erased from our collective consciousness. But for those of us that live in reality, the memories of that day are still fresh… especially in the minds of New Yorkers! So, after not alerting anyone in New York, a 747 flew low over Manhattan tailed by 2 fighter planes. How could anyone mistake this for what it really was… a photo-op for America’s mistake? Panic ensued. People scrambled from buildings and streets remembering all too well that Tuesday morning almost 8 years ago. It seems that there are a lot of people who are quick to erase these memories and brush them aside. How despicable. HOLD ON – CNN and MSNBC are on the ball! They’re doing a story on this disaster right n… oh wait… it’s a story on what the new white house dog eats! I’m glued to my set!

But wait, there’s more! Now Crappy-Nappy has decided that this whole swine flu thing is nothing to worry about and we shouldn’t dare think of restricting anything coming or going to Mexico. "Right now we don't think the facts warrant more active testing or screening of passengers coming in from Mexico." The next day, the CDC issued a warning to all Americans to avoid travel to Mexico. Has it occurred to this seat warmer that Mexico is the breeding ground for this strain? Way to protect America, Nappy! This is a really sad commentary when you think about what happened last week to Carrie Prejean, Miss California. But in the end, her post pageant performance and the documented outright hypocrisy of the left makes this a shining example of someone that sticks to their beliefs and convictions, and benefits from it.

Nothing hateful, disrespectful, or mean spirited about her comment. She simply gave an honest answer to a question she was asked. An answer which, by the way, a large majority of Americans agree with. So why has this ‘judge’ got his panties in a bunch? Well, apparently it wasn’t the answer he wanted.

His parents must be so proud.

Take a look at some quotes from this compassionate, level headed liberal idiot: "She gave the worst answer in pageant history. She got booed. I think that was the first time in Miss USA EVER that a contestant has been booed … She lost not because she doesn’t believe in gay marriage. Miss California lost because she’s a dumb bitch." He went on in his video blog to call her every name in the book. And I hate to break it to ya, honey… but she wasn’t booed. Her answer got much more applause than your obviously politically slanted question. It turns out Perez Hilton is nothing but a classless piece of garbage that in subsequent days has been put in ‘his’ place by a pageant queen with actual beliefs, convictions, and morals. But this liberal mouthpiece wasn’t finished. Here’s a quote from his CNN interview on “Reliable Sources” when told that America’s mistake gave the same answer to the question during the campaign:

"Well, you mentioned President Obama, but when he says that, he says he believes marriage is between a man and a woman," Hilton responded. "However, he also says that he believes gay and lesbian couples should have the same rights that heterosexual couples [have]. If Miss California have said the same thing, then I wouldn't have had an issue with her answer because it wouldn't have been inclusive and it wouldn't have caused this wedge and divided the way that it did."

Again I hate to break it to you sweetie, but you didn’t ask about rights, you asked about her stance on gay marriage! As is common with most liberal idiots, they fail to see the hypocrisy that exists when it is Obama that makes the same statement, and that's OK, but when miss Prejean made the statement, all of the sudden she’s spreading hate?

"Well, she used the national platform of the Miss USA competition to spew what I think is hate"

She was answering your dumbass question, moron! She didn’t run up and grab the mic from the hosts’ hands and start screaming her beliefs. She gave an honest answer to a question from a person that has no business judging a female beauty pageant. Of course it wasn't the answer he wanted therefore he must twist the truth to fit his own demented and sick view of the world.

Perez, do this country a favor and step over your 15 minutes and out of our collective consciousness. We have a real American that deserves her 15 minutes of fame… and more so!

Just as you would expect from America’s mistake, it has come to light that the photo’s the MSM were gushing about last week were staged to look as phony as his campaign promises.

Initially, 1500 of America’s finest were invited to attend the Obama-nation love fest and photo-op. Only 600 showed up! What does that tell you? It tells me that America’s finest are not too impressed with America’s mistake. Of the paltry 600 that showed up, organizers of the event asked “Who voted for Obama?” They were escorted to the front of the line. They were also given cameras to increase the “unstaged photo-op-ness” effect of the phony event. Notice how a lot of those cameras look alike?

This is from an email sent by a sergeant that was there:

”We were pre-screened, asked by officials "Who voted for Obama?", and then those who raised their hands were shuffled to the front of the receiving line.  They even handed out digital cameras and asked them to hold them up.”

I guess Obama’s Press Corps (the MSM) needs to do a better job at disguising these events. Perhaps they can hire some of the Hollywood elite that received stimulus money?

I was just checking on the site and prepping post material for this weekend when I came across a set of photos that really put one of my previous posts in perspective. I asked the question "What happened to the good old days when the POTUS actually was proud of his country and toured the world touting the benefits, accomplishments, and pride of the American way of life?" and then it hit me. The real men that ran this country ran it like leaders. This charlatan runs it like he's running a sorority house. Absolutely no position (other than the middle) when it comes to crisis events like the recent piracy issue and North Korea, but will quickly flap his gums about hope, change, and caring... No inspiration, no pride, just a big nothing. Anyway, take a little compare / contrast test below. It made me laugh:

Y'know, it's not even funny anymore. This blatant disregard by the so called 'reputable' media of Obama's endless and daily blunders.

No one has pointed out the numerous broken promises, but this latest one needs pointing out. For those of you that remember Georg Bush Sr.'s fatal mistake of "... no new taxes!" got him in hot water when he was strong armed into raising taxes. But twenty years later, the Messiah hits the campaign trail spouting his "No taxes" on the poor rhetoric. 

"I can make a firm pledge," he said in Dover, N.H., on Sept. 12. "Under my plan, no family making less than $250,000 a year will see any form of tax increase. Not your income tax, not your payroll tax, not your capital gains taxes, not any of your taxes."He repeatedly vowed "you will not see any of your taxes increase one single dime."

Yet today the largest increase in tobacco taxes has taken effect. The federal tax on a pack of cigarettes is now $1.01. The surprising thing (and the thing none of the Obama choir seem to care about) is how this tax is an increase on the poor, who disproportionately smoke. This move is, in fact, a tax increase on the poor.

Joe 'Exeter' Biden also jumped on the "I'm all about tax cuts just to get elected, but then I'll stab ya when ya ain't looking'" bandwagon. "No one making less than $250,000 under Barack Obama's plan will see one single penny of their tax raised," he said, "whether it's their capital gains tax, their income tax, investment tax, any tax."

You would think the Koolaid drinkers on the left would have learned after the Bill Clinton tax cut promise that was broken in record time. He championed middle class tax cuts all through the campaign. But after a couple months in office, he went on national TV, bit his lower lip, and said he couldn't do it. What compassion!

Of course the Obama Press Corps (NBC, MSNBC, CNN, etc.) will play this down by claiming he meant only income taxes. I guess you just can't take what anyone in this administration says at face value. If Obama told us the sky is blue, I'd still look out the window just to be sure.

I got an email from Heritage.org that contained a story on Daniel Hannan. This has to be one of the best delivered and well thought out rebuttal to a rampant 'tax and spend' mentality. Now if we only had someone like this in the US congress. Watch this video and substitute the word "Prime Minister" for "Obama" and "UK" for "US".

Does Daniel Hannan speak for most of Britain? I wish he'd come over here and give Obama the verbal spanking HE deserves!  Hell, he should run for President! Don't let that citizenship thing upset you, Daniel... Obama seemed to get around it.
