Coffee Party is a day late and a dollar short

by Al S. 6. March 2010 15:32

image Have you seen this Coffee Party stuff? It seems that some well meaning liberal decided that they want to jump on the popularity of the Tea Party movement and have made a pathetic attempt at posing as… well, posers.

The cross-eyed liberal in the picture is Annabel Park. She claims she’s a documentary film maker.  That’s all well and good until the State-run media decided to run with this story and present her and her movement as a great grass roots example presenting honest opposition to the Tea Party movement. The problem is, she’s anything but. She’s a dyed in the wool Obama backer from way back. The so called founder of the Coffee Party has been quickly exposed as an Obama campaign operative, whose caffeine concept was purely designed to undermine and co-opt the Tea Party ideology.

Park campaigned for Obama in 2008 and was one of the organizers and operators of the influential United for Obama video channel at YouTube.

“I found that people have little understanding of the change that Senator Barack Obama is advocating. I thought from my experience in using videos for civil movements that videos would be the best way to promote the need for change and for Obama. That’s why I decided to work for the Obama campaign,” Annabel Park said.

The revelation, along with the discovery that Park is a former Strategy Analyst at the NY Times, [Park's Linked In page has been taken down, here is a cached link] explains why she has received a great deal of mainstream media coverage recently.

Well, we decided to have a little fun with the objectionable, open minded Miss Parks and her pathetic band of leftist rebels. You can check out some of our “Coffee Party” stuff here

Heh heh… Silly liberal operative… And you thought we wouldn’t find out!

Harry Reid says to pass stimulus package or men will beat women!

by Al S. 23. February 2010 04:56

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) suggested Monday that domestic violence by men has increased due to U.S. joblessness. Now, I understand that the stress of being unemployed can lead to confrontations and fights within families, but to say that this bill needs to pass so that domestic violence can be quelled is laughable, even for Democrats.

Reid, speaking in the midst of a Senate debate over whether to pass a $15 billion package meant to spur job creation, appeared to argue that joblessness would lead to more domestic violence.

"I met with some people while I was home dealing with domestic abuse. It has gotten out of hand," Reid said on the Senate floor. "Why? Men don't have jobs."

So, according to Reid’s logic, we must spend billions more dollars on a do nothing bill that will only add to our deficit while providing, at most, temporary jobs that will be gone soon after the appropriation is spent… So that way domestic abuse will end?!?! Why not just spend a few million dollars on increased resources to better thwart and prosecute domestic violence cases? That way, we save billions and domestic violence gets some well needed resources assigned directly to it.

I’m guessing that when your trying to sell a turd, you advertise it as anything but a turd. Why not say it will make the sun shine brighter and cure cancer? Instead of arguing the perceived merits of the bill, they try and hide the garbage by disguising it as helping with domestic violence. I’m waiting for the Democrats to throw in that old yarn about how it’s “for the children.”

I love his comment about how recently domestic violence “…has gotten out of hand,” like there is some acceptable level of domestic violence that can be overlooked before something needs to be done. What an idiot.

“Miss Me Yet?” Billboard draws confusion, laughs, and introspection

by Al S. 18. February 2010 05:15

bilboard Last week, a picture hit the internet showing a billboard with a friendly George W. Bush waving and asking “Miss Me Yet?” People were blogging and speculating as to whether the billboard, outside of Wyoming, Minnesota, was real or a Photo-shopped prank. Turns out, it was real!

The creators are a "group of small businessmen and individuals who just felt like Washington was against them," according to an employee of Schubert & Hoey Outdoor Advertising. The group also wishes to remain anonymous.

Aside from the clever message, the buzz over the billboard is a clear indication of how vibrant outdoor advertising can become, even in an Internet age.

"They are arguably more relevant than they ever were," says Dave Etherington, worldwide marketing director for Titan, which handles advertising on transit systems around the US. "A key thing about a billboard or a large ad ... it has the power to stop you in your stride that comes from the incongruity of seeing something in a public space where you're not conditioned to expect something."

missbig Forget the ad, the message is something we’ve been saying for several months now. With that in mind, our graphics guy decided to take the public image and create a t-shirt and mug design with the popular slogan. The items are available now through out Cafe Press Store.

I don’t like to use blog postings as a marketing tool, but that picture of Bush with that smile and the slogan fit so perfectly that we just had to take a second and toot our own horn.

BTW: Yes, we do miss the good ol’ days. My mug is on it’s way!

White House says Critics 'Serving the Goals of al Qaeda'

by Al S. 9. February 2010 06:48

I see, so it’s my fault… and the fault of millions of other right minded bloggers, commentators, and pundits that are the reason they want to blow us up. In an op-ed in USA Today, John Brennan -- Assistant to the President and Deputy National Security Advisor for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism -- responds to critics of the Obama administration's counterterrorism policies by saying "Politically motivated criticism and unfounded fear-mongering only serve the goals of al-Qaeda."

witstupid Let’s think about this for a moment. Telling the world that a little water on the face is the grossest form of torture and that the US is bad for using it, failing to stand up to Iran, bowing before every foreign leader he meets, giving the date that we will leave Afghanistan, giving terrorist captives free reign over our legal system with the same benefits and virtues as actual citizens, and travelling the world apologizing for America’s behavior isn’t emboldening terrorists? But pointing out the gross inadequacies of our benevolent potentate is?!?! I would think that al Qaeda is a little more concerned with the fact that so many Americans are now on to tricks of this empty suit, vehemently displeased overall with NObama’s handling of the war on terror.

I heard the ‘Blame Bush’ BS for the first 6 months of America’s mistake’s administration, but it’s been over a year now. Man up and take responsibility. Quit blaming others for your inabilities and show that you deserve that Cracker Jack box peace price. It’s not your detractors that are the problem, it’s YOUR POLICIES, Barry.

Obama | The Rest Of The World

Giving props where props are due

by Al S. 8. February 2010 02:45

I've taken a lot of shots from this board and these postings. That's one reason for the comments being censored. I want to keep this site PG-13. But over the last few months I've taken more crap than a Taco Bell toilet. Most of it centers around the fact that there isn't one remotely positive post regarding the POTUS. In response, I would like to give due credit when earned.

It took Obama several weeks to stop wavering on a decision regarding the troop levels in Afghanistan, but finally he gave in and stood up to the hardcore left and began to properly fund and devote resources at the requests of commanders in Afghanistan. In doing so, there has been an increase in covert activity that involves chasing the enemy across the border and into Pakistan. US airstrikes in Pakistan, launched from unmanned drones, are now averaging three a week, triple the number last year.

"For the past month drones have pounded the tribal region of North Waziristan in apparent retaliation for the murder of seven CIA officers in Afghanistan by a Jordanian suicide bomber working with the Pakistani Taliban," according to Times Online UK. "

"Last week America launched its first multiple drone attack, according to Pakistani security officials. Eighteen missiles were fired from eight unmanned aircraft in Dattakhel village, killing 16 people. The discovery of the dead US soldiers revealed that America’s shadowy war in Pakistan not only involves drones but also small cadres of special operations soldiers."

Even though the term is banned, I'm glad to see the War on Terror is getting what it needs for now. So to all you leftards who think I'm narrow minded and can't find anythig positive to say, stick this in your hat!  Good Job on this one, Obama!

Obama blasts SCOTUS for campaign rules that got him elected

by Al S. 28. January 2010 02:21

I couldn't stomach much of the "Obama Show" last night so I'm following up with the transcripts. I did see, however, the remarks in which America's mistake tried to call out the Supreme Court for a recent decision they handed down regarding campaign finance reform. Funny thing is, it's how NObama got elected!

"Last week, the Supreme Court reversed a century of law to open the floodgates for special interests — including foreign corporations — to spend without limit in our elections," Obama said. "Well I don’t think American elections should be bankrolled by America’s most powerful interests, or worse, by foreign entities. They should be decided by the American people, and that’s why I’m urging Democrats and Republicans to pass a bill that helps to right this wrong."

Let's look back at the last election... NObama saw that if he skirted his promise to stick to campaign finance restrictions, he wouldn't be able to receive and spend special interest money from George Soros, the Chinese, Unions, and other special interst groups. He therefore opted out of receiving federal money (unlike McCain) and began basking in the glow of numerous contributions from special interest groups that gave him tens of millions more dollars than McCain and his stupid 'stick by the rules I made up' campaign. We all know how that turned out. NObama raised over $600M for his campaign, about $400M of that came from foreign interests!

But now the Supreme Court took a look at the whole campaign finance rules and decided that they were unconstitutional on the grounds that it limited free speech. Now the Teleprompter in Chief used his "State of the Union" addrress to voice a grossly inappropriate opinion about a ruling that will, if nothing else, level the playing field. If it's good enough for NObama to take special interest and foreign money, why isn't it OK for everyone else to do so? Oh wait... I forgot about that whole liberal hypocrasy thingy.

BTW: Isn't it cute how little Rahm got to stay up late and rest his head on Crappy-Nappy's shoulder, listening to his bedtime story from Uncle Barry while shim dozed off? I guess doing nothing about National Security takes a lot out of a guy.

6th Grade reading level requires teleprompter

by Al S. 27. January 2010 02:19

The Teleprompter in Chief has struck again. Over the past year, we've all been sort of desensitized when it comes to seeing America's mistake with his trusty teleprompter no further than arms reach away. But this took it to a new low. Even when talking to 6th graders Barry cannot be seen as an actual genuine person, but rather as a scripted automoton.

Remember when Bush caught hell (and still does) for listening to children read "My Pet Goat" for a few minutes after receiving the confusing news that a second plane had hit the twin towers? All the Monday morning quarterbacking in the world cannot dismiss the fact that no one knew what was going on or had any reliable information past that initial news. He stayed for a few minutes and let the children finish the story and then spoke briefly after every child went. He did it improv style in order to connect with the kids on a level other than elitist special treatment Messiah.

NObama on the other hand can't even handle talking directly to a room full of school children without his teleprompter telling him what to say. Is there nothing genuine or unrehearsed about this guy? Good thing there wasn't another terrorist attack or he would have bolted out of the room with teleprompter in hand, trampling any poor child who got in his way, and headed for the nearest bunker (probably over at Oprah's house).

I know America's mistake sounds like a stuttering buffoon when he answers questions on the fly, but when you're visiting schoolkids, don't you think they would appreciate a little honesty and down-to-earthnes? They deserve it, don't they? Why not sit with the kids at their level... Y'know, at a desk or a small chair or something. Then let the kids actually stand within 20 feet of you so they feel special and honored by the visit. And maybe, instead of simply spouting your teleprompter displayed rhetoric that no one cares about (especially 6th graders), why not let the kids do the talking or let them show you somehting they've learned instead of making it all about you!

Oh wait... Bush did that and got lambasted for it. America's mistake does the opposite and comes across as an out of touch, elitist, narcissist and is given a pass?!?! Undecided

Scott Brown’s Victory Is A Political Broadside

by Al S. 20. January 2010 02:25

I haven’t posted in a while, and there are a couple of good reasons for it… First, America’s mistake has been doing such a great job of sinking his own ship that I haven’t really had a sense of urgency in posting the truth about their crooked and shady ways. Second, I’ve been busier than a one armed paper hanger, so there! :)

scottbr What a night in Boston. Can you believe that a Republican has won the seat that was held by a Democrat since the early 50’s? And a seat that was until recently held by Ted Kennedy at that! This should be a resounding wake up call to the lemmingcrats and their tax and spend agenda. Scott Brown, although not what I would consider a ‘conservative’, is still the Republican candidate that did what would have been considered impossible a few short months ago.

In one of the country's most traditionally liberal states, Brown rode a wave of voter anger to defeat Coakley. Her loss signaled big political problems for Obama and the Democratic Party this fall when House, Senate and gubernatorial candidates are on the ballot nationwide.

This now makes the democratic controlled senate’s once powerful filibuster-proof majority a memory. Hopefully now this means the absolute end to the Healthcare Destruction Act of 2010. Now what is Obama going to talk about in his State of the Union Address? Oh wait… He hasn’t scheduled it YET!

Joe Wilson hits the nail on the head - “You LIE!”

by Al S. 10. September 2009 05:46

Bravo to Rep. Joe Wilson, R-S.C., who had the stones to call America’s mistake out for his outright lies and distortions of the Healthcare Destruction Bill.

Obama, with a straight face, said that “There are also those who claim that our reform effort will insure illegal immigrants. This, too, is false. The reforms I'm proposing would not apply to those who are here illegally." Well, for anyone who has actually read the bill, this is an outright lie. Let me explain.

091009_wilson

Lefties are quick to point out that there is no specific wording that says “Illegal’s get free healthcare,” They are correct about that. But what America’s mistake and his leftard minions are missing is the fact that the bill will allow the government option for anyone without showing proof of anything. Therefore, illegal’s can apply and get the government option with no questions asked. But, of course, to the mental midget Democrats, they think that just because it is not spelled out in specific terms that the action will not come to pass. BullS*t!

If the Dems are correct, why is every option that the Republicans put forward that specifically excludes illegal's from getting health care shot down by the Libs that control the subcommittees? What are they hiding? Shame on you liberal lemmings that think these people are serving America’s best interests.

The funniest thing about the comment was to see the reaction on the Anointed One’s face. Even Michelle Obama (Left Tackle, Notre Dame), shook her head in disgust and let out a loud Whinny. OK, the horse thing was made up, but the look on her face was same that millions of American’s had when she said that she “…never been proud to be an American.” Here’s some more phony outrage…

"Anybody who would cat-call the president of the United States addressing this body is very, very inappropriate, and he will hear from a lot of us about that," Rep. Jerry Lewis, R-Calif., told FOX News Radio.

Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., said Wilson's behavior was "totally disrespectful. There is no place for it in that setting, or any other, and he should apologize for it immediately."

Democratic Sen. Dick Durbin of Illinois called it "crude and disrespectful."

And Democratic Sen. Jim Clyburn, also of South Carolina, said Wilson "went beyond heckling."

"That was probably one of the most-insulting things I've ever seen," Clyburn told FOX News. "The people of South Carolina are not well-served by that."

House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, D-Md., said "I have never in my 29 years heard an outburst of that nature with reference to a president of the United States speaking as a guest of the House and Senate."

"It was a shameful act," he told WTOP radio.

Hoyer said he'll work with GOP lawmakers to decide whether to punish Wilson.

Did you read that last bit? Punish him… OMG, for calling out a liar! What about Hillary Clinton’s famous “I have a dre..” wait a minute… No, her “We have a right to debate” speech:

“I am sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and you disagree with this administration somehow you’re not patriotic. We should stand up and say we are Americans and we have a right to debate and disagree with any administration.”

Wow, great speech Hillary. Too bad you forgot the disclaimer that says “Only applicable if you are opposing a Republican President. Democrat presidents should be treated with respect, adherence, and unquestionable obedience.

But, lets look back at what happened in Bush’s last few years in office. The Democrats certainly did not hold back at their jeering and booing during his speeches to the joint session. Oh, but that’s OK, it was a Democrat doing it. I forgot about the whole hypocritical, double standard thingy they got going on. Didn’t Dick Turban call Bush a liar while he was in office? Hmmm, guess he can’t take it when someone calls his Lord and Savior a liar, but he can dish it out when it’s opportunistic for him. What a ‘Dick’… Durbin.

Reasons to fear Obamacare – From a forward thinking perspective

by Al S. 10. August 2009 06:10

Liberals will be quick to jump on this concise list as being inaccurate and out of context. It is NOT. It is a summation of the language that appears in the actual Health Care Destruction Bill. If you read the language and the intent, you will come to the same conclusions as this list. You can nit-pick the language and say that these examples do not actually state these things, but take it one step further and look at the intent or the outcome of just such a rule.

I’ve heard Gibby, the smuggest of the SS minions, give an example of having a street corner where three private gas stations charge $2.00 for a gallon of gas, but then comes a fourth government option that only charge $1.50 for gas. In his example, he then states that since the government option is less, it will drive sown the price the privately owned gas stations charge, therefore everyone will get cheaper gas! Here’s the problem… What if the wholesale price of gas is $1.50? The government can sell it at that price because they do NOT have to make a profit. In fact, the government has NEVER made a profit. The concept is foreign to them. In the case of the privately owned stations on the other three corners, they DO need to make a profit. They have investors and employees and owners that need to get paid and see a return on their investment. Government does not. The private companies need to hire motivated quality employees, which cost more. The government does not (ever been to the DMV?).

So, in Gibby’s egg-headed example, the other three stations would have to close, therefore leaving the government station as the ONLY option. Then the gas will quickly rise to over $3.00 per gallon because of bloated government bureaucracy and mismanagement (remember Cash-for-clunkers?) and taxes will be raised so your awesome government $1.50 gas quickly turns into $3.00 plus higher taxes gas. Of course, liberals don’t apply any forward thinking to their argument, therefore in the knee-jerk, consequence free environment they work in, this example works perfectly. However, if you apply forward thinking, the whole argument goes up in smoke and you are flagged as a dissenter at the official White House re-education web site.

Attention minions! Politburo demands your obedience

by Al S. 6. August 2009 05:47

Do NOT read the Healthcare Destructon Bill. People better than you have already determined it to be GREAT! Do NOT question it!

Today the Central Committee is ordering all proletariat members to alert the great and powerful Oz of any dissention amongst the ranks regarding our glorious leader’s gift of free healthcare.

If you have had a conversation with or received e-mails from a kapitalist pig regarding our attempted takeover and outright destruction of the finest healthcare system in the world, please alert the authorities immediately.

“There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care.  These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation.  Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov.” - Macon Phillips, Commissar of Dissention Control.

Let it be known that dissemination of facts and actual reading of the Healthcare Destruction Bill will NOT be tolerated. Such thoughts and opinions have not been approved by Central Command. Continue getting your thoughts and opinions ONLY from state approved propaganda outlets (CBS, CNN, MSNBC, DailyKok, PuffHo, etc.).

It’s time to play “Where’s Barry?”

by Al S. 23. June 2009 03:54

IRAN-VOTE-DEMOAmerica’s mistake seems to be conveniently absent when it comes to defending those who seek freedom and Democracy. The Iranian people are taking to the streets to show the world how their government is nothing more than an oppressive Socialist Dictatorship. The sham election last week left many wondering what America will have to say about the will of the people being trampled by a corrupt, vile, and arrogant Mullah ruling party.

Barry has chosen to take the road less intelligent by not supporting either party or outcome. What a grandiose message of hope that the beacon of Democracy and freedom, The US, is sending to the world… “Screw you people, I’ve got health care reform to cram down these lemmings’ throats.”

I think I would have a heart attack if this false prophet actually supported something that required a fight or an argument. He is so massively consumed with being loved by everyone that he shies away from any decision or viewpoint that may ruffle some feathers. I will rejoice when America finally has a leader, not an infomercial icon. Billy Mays 2012!

What was our beloved king doing this week instead of supporting those who thirst for freedom and Democracy? Oh yeah, he was signing the most important legislation in US history. The bill gives the federal government the ability to regulate the production and sale of cigarettes and other tobacco products. Again, more government control over you, your lives, and your children’s future. Let’s run down what Barry has managed to grab hold of in his few months as benevolent potentate and supreme commander:

  1. Controls the US banking system
  2. Controls two of the largest automakers in the US
  3. Ability to seize banks and companies whose collapse may damage the US economy
  4. Wants control over the finest health care system in the world

Barry says "And I also know that kids today don't just start smoking for no reason. They're aggressively targeted as customers by the tobacco industry." No they are not. The are targeted by their peers! Take it from someone who has raised two teenagers. They don’t see any smoking ads on TV or anywhere else for that matter. They hear about smoking from their friends! Cocaine isn’t advertised and yet we see millions of people using that substance (including our favorite coke-addled empty suit). How can this be?

Add to that the fact that Barry smokes. So, when it comes to children and role models, I think King Hussein has done more to encourage kids to smoke than Joe Camel ever did.

Bawny Fwank gets upset when confronted with facts

by Al S. 11. June 2009 07:13

Awwww. Did Barney get offended when someone dare to confront him with facts and figures than ask him to explain himself? Seems so.

Barney Frank, the illegitimate son of Judy Dench and Elmer Fudd, couldn’t quite comprehend the complexities of the knee jerk plan to limit what corporate executives are paid. Of course the host will now be reprimanded much like the poor guy who stood on the floor of the NYSE and exclaimed his frustration with a poorly planned stimulus package that NObama crammed down our throats.

In other words, this feigned outrage is being touted by Frank as a ‘shareholder rights’ bill, but is in reality a government oversight and intrusion bill. When called on that fact, Frank gets his panties in a bunch and storms off saying “…diff inavoo id oba” (this interview is over).

Does this tool understand how the whole shareholder / board of directors / executive relationship and responsibilities work? Obviously not or he and his boyfriend wouldn’t have to run an illegal male brothel out of their basement! (I’m not being mean here, he actually did run a brothel out of his home with his boytoy back in the 90’s).

Here’s something these Capitalism challenged know nothings didn’t think of… If you limit the pay of executives, how are they going to pay those high taxes your counting on for free health care? Dumbass.

Frank still needs to answer for the crimes against this country stemming from his disastrous ‘leadership’ of Fannie / Freddie. It is so well documented that I am not going to repeat the whole argument here, but he needs to answer for his gross incompetence and for setting the stage for the current economic situation.

Obama set to tell investors to run away from American businesses

by Al S. 11. June 2009 06:43

Once again, I wake up thinking I’m living in a nightmare… And I am! America’s mistake is pushing his Socialist agenda down our throats at breakneck speed. He came down from the mountain and proclaimed that we MUST have universal health care by September. He has successfully commandeered GM and is now mandating what cars to build as well as actively engaged in the hiring / firing of executives. And now he has unleashed his plan to control what private companies can pay their employees. Keep in mind, these ideas are coming from people that have never started a business, never ran a business, and never met a payroll.govmotors

From AP: Democrats and administration officials agreed that companies across the private sector need to adjust compensation practices to avoid damaging the economy.

Gene Sperling, a counselor to Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner, said administration guidelines call on all publicly held companies to link compensation to long-term performance, not short-term gains.

"We believe that compensation practices must be better aligned with long-term value and prudent risk management at all firms, and not just for the financial services industry," Sperling said.

Did you read that last part? They believe compensation should be tied to long term instead of short term? Excuse my French, but who the hell are they to determine that? What do these people know about running anything?

I also like the first line about how they think businesses need to adjust compensation practices to avoid damaging the economy, yet they have no concern over how much irreparable damage America’s mistake is doing to the economy! I can tell you right now that General Motors will end up being as well run and profitable as the other government run transportation business, AMTRAK.

I wonder if NObama will have the stones to tell union bosses how much they can make? ROTFLOL

Democrats hope museum shooting scores them big points

by Al S. 11. June 2009 06:29

This is getting really sad. The evidence is so ‘in your face’ when it comes to exposing how Democrats use race, religion, ethnicity, income level, and sex to try and divide this country. Without chaos, the Democrats cannot expand their radical agenda to reign in the masses and bring everyone under government control.

Case in point, the tragic shooting of a security guard at the National Holocaust Museum by a sick, twisted individual. Without facts, without proof, without knowledge, the State-run media immediately labeled this POS a “right winger.” The term was used numerous times on Obama friendly outlets such as MSNBC and CNN. Here’s a great example:

Salon.com Editor-in-Chief Joan Walsh, on Wednesday night’s “Hardball,” cited “conservatives” like Rush Limbaugh, Michelle Malkin and Bill O’Reilly for “whipping up” a climate that sparks the likes of alleged Holocaust Museum shooter James Von Brunn and “Hardball” host Chris Matthews wondered if access to guns were to blame for the tragedy as he cried, “It’s easier to get your hands on a gun than to get somebody to make you a waffle.”

Isn’t it funny that the MSM spends so much time trying to place blame on “right wingers” for this tragic event and the one last week involving the abortion doctor? They can’t just blame it on the fact that these people are psychotic, deranged, and dangerous. They seem to ignore the fact that this loon hated FOX news, Bush, the government in general, and was a 9/11 conspiracy nut.

BTW: Where was Chris Matthews when it came to in-depth coverage of how hate speech urged a Muslim to attack and kill a soldier in a military recruitment center in Alabama? Oh yeah, I forgot that to them, Jihadist’s killing Americans is acceptable and we should go to any length to understand why they hate us.
